Interesting and unknown facts about Vicky Kaushal’s upcoming superhero movie


Vicky Kaushal is an Indian actor who was born on 16 May 1988 and works in Hindi films. He is the recipient of a National Film Award and a Filmfare award. He is a well-known actor who is famous for playing a variety of roles ranging from a police inspector to an army major. The actor was recently seen in a megahit movie Uri: The Surgical Strike directed by Aditya Dhar. The success of the duo could be measured by the fact that Dhar and Kaushal had won the award for best director and best actor respectively.

Although the actor has many films lined up for next year, he is currently gearing up to reunite with the Uri director Aditya Dhar for his upcoming superhero film ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’.

Though the film was announced earlier, the shooting will probably start from mid-2020. Further, as per the reports, the locations for the shoot which director has finalized include Greenland, Tokyo, New Zealand, and Namibia. Apart from this, Aditya Dhar mentioned, “Soft prep began two months ago while formal prep will start in a fortnight. We will shoot the entire film in a start-to-finish schedule and have shortlisted Greenland, Tokyo, New Zealand, and Namibia as locations. I will be collaborating with teams from all over the world on the action. The entire post-production, including the VFX, will be done in the US.”

Apart from this, if we talk about the character Ashwatthama, he is one of the most powerful and mysterious characters from the Mahabharata. Ashwatthama was Dhronacharya and Kripi’s son, born as the result of prayers for a son as Valliant as Shiva and was also considered a brilliant warrior. He is considered to be immortal due to which he was filled with arrogance and is highly egoistic. Although there is not much mentioned about him, it seems like us, he is also not perfect, which is the most loving thing about him.

The director Aditya Dhar was in the US for the last 5 months to work on the script and had revealed that the film is mounted on a big scale and will feature Vicky in a never-seen-before role. Interesting isn’t it?? Vicky Kaushal is set to undergo a huge transformation for his character in the film and is said to gain an incredible amount of weight which will be a great surprise for his fans.

Meanwhile, Kaushal will star also in Karan Johar’s period drama Takht alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Bhumi Pednekar, Anil Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor. Apart from that, the actor has also been roped in to play the lead role in Shoojit Sircar’s biopic on the freedom fighter Shaheed Udham Singh.
